Based on the set of Lovejoy, come and have a weekend learning about art & antiques, including fakes and forgeries and explore the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Welcome to Lovejoy country.

TV's fakes and forgeries expert Curtis Dowling invites you down to Suffolk where, over the 2 days, you will hear lectures about past scams. Curtis will work with you to make your own 'real fake' along with experts in painting and furniture who will show you how to not only SPOT the real thing but also how to paint and restore.

2 Day Course Details

Day 1

  • 10am arrive - reception
  • 11am first lecture
  • 1pm - lunch
  • 1.30pm painting/watercoulours with painting expert
  • 4.30 second lecture
  • 6.30 finish for the day

Day 2

  • 10am start with fake over view and test from yesterday
  • 12noon furniture restoration & fakery with furniture
  • 3pm third lecture
  • 5pm certificate handout
  • 6pm finish
